How LAX Is Keeping You Safe from Corona Virus (Covid-19).
LAWA is ensuring you that they are more concerned about the pandemic Corona Virus (Covid-19), and the safety of their employees, passenger, and their partners is their top priority.
Specific actions we have taken include:
Hand Sanitizers: They have installed hundreds of additional hand sanitizer stations throughout their terminals for easy access by their guests.
Frequent Cleaning: LAX Crews clean public areas and restrooms at least once per hour using Virus and bacteria-killing disinfectants.
Hospital Grade Products: Highly touchable areas such as elevators, escalators, trash and recycling cans, kiosk touch screens, water fountains, seating areas, hand and grab rails, doorknobs, counters, restroom fixtures, and others are sanitized with 3M Brand Quat disinfectant, an EPA approved, hospital grade cleaning product.
Partner Cleaning: LAX coordinates with their contracting partners to ensure that their cleaning crews are following the same cleaning protocols.
Transit Cleaning: The LAX Shuttle fleet cleaned a minimum of 3 times a day using Virus and bacteria-killing disinfectants and also limiting the number of guests on each shuttle.
Floor Markings: Physical distance floor markings are also added to some passenger areas with lines to ensure appropriate space between guests.
Face Coverings: Everyone must wear face coverings inside the central terminal area at LAX.
Advanced Air filtration: The airport installed ionization and UV light to sterilize air circulating inside its facilities.
